context	- novice practitioners do not often consider the impact of schedules of reinforcement or deprivation and satiation on the usual arrangements. - satiation occurs when the individual no longer finds the reinforcer appealing. - stimulus satiation and antecedent control may, conceptually and procedurally, preclude the occurrence of the challenging behavior altogether. - results for experiment 2 indicated that reinforcer effectiveness decreased for both edibles and tokens during satiation relative to the controlled-access condition. - one possibility for the ABA program not working is satiation. In other words, your child is getting tired of whatever reinforcer you are using.
